The GREEN LED's will stay sold GREEN when all the satellites are found. It will take about 3 minutes for it to find all the satellites you have pre-programmed. Buy the way, those of us in Texas know that some satellites are very high in the sky, so the antenna may almost look straight up. ![]() There's no need to worry about how it sits on the ground except that it must be able to see the southern sky. You can put the antenna on the ground in any direction you like. When you turn it on, you will have to hold the on button for 3 seconds, and then let it automatically find the satellites. I bundled this extra RG6 cable with larger existing 55 foot cable using tie wraps. If you add the extra receiver, you have to run a separate RG6 cable along with the one supplied by King Controls in the big cable. ![]() The VuQube 2000 has two RG6 ports on it, one labeled main receiver and the other auxiliary. Both receivers will work independent of each other. I have mine hooked up to a TV in our garage and the other to a TV in the main galley. (I use this one)ĥ) Dish 1000 High Definition Satellite 110, 119, 129 = Press the on button 20 times, then hold the circle button 4 seconds.Ħ) Dish 1000a High Definition Satellite 61, 110, 119 = Press the on button 16 times, then hold the circle button for 4 seconds. The programming is here (You only have to do this one time to set it up).ġ) Direct TV Single Satellite 101 = Press the on button 16 times then hold the triangle button for 4 seconds.Ģ) Direct TV Plus Satellite 101, 119 = Press the on button 8 times, then hold the circle button for 4 seconds.ģ) Dish Single Satellite 119 = Press the on button 20 times, then hold the triangle button for 4 seconds.Ĥ) Dish 500 Satellites 110, 119 = Press the on button 12 times, then hold the circle button for 4 seconds. The VuQube will automatically find your pre-programmed satellites and the two blinking LED lights will stay green when all the satellites are found. The way it works, is that you turn it on by holding the Controller ON button for 3 seconds. My Raptor 3602 only supports a single RG6 port on the outside, so I really don't use this port anymore. One problem with this bigger cable is that I have to run it through the window of my RV. Unlike the VuQube 1000 which needs just one thick RG6 coax cable, the 2000 has a bigger cable that will not send power through the RG6 itself. The cable is wrapped in very nice sheeting, and very easy to work with. The power cord plugs into a 120volt wall plug, and has a small transformer attached to it, and into the antenna cable. The controller box is only used to power the antenna on or pre-program the antenna. The controller box sits inside you RV/Home and is about the size of a deck of cards. Not just a thick RG6 coax cable, but also a power cord to power the motors in the Satellite unit and a controller cable which connects to the antenna thought a controller box. The other links - getting them to authorize my Radio Shack Receivers, and having a person come to my resident - were weak points.Ībout the Antenna: The 2000 has a very long 55 foot bundled cable with 3 wires running in it. The VuQube 2000 was the only strong link in getting Dish Network to work for me. gets two satilites, used about four times, were going to permenent camping spot with full hook up and cable. I:VE got one in the garage ,I sell for $550. Wineguard just came out with a portable totally automatic unit that is cheeper than the vuqube. How does setting up the VUQUBE compare to a traditional setup?Ģ011 F350 DRW 6.7L 4x4 Diesel Lariat and Hensley TrailerSaver BD3ġ992 Jeep ZJ and 1978 Coleman Concord Pop-Up for remote campingĭave & Renee plus (Champ, Molly, Paris, Missy, and Maggie in spirit), Mica and Mabel, both Rat Terriers! Said we RV to relax and trying to set up the satellite was not relaxing. ![]() We "attempted" the satellite thing but could never lock on a signal, etc., etc., DH took it all back. Other than that we recieve all our DirectTV channels. Did ask Qube folks down at the RV show in Tampa about this and they admitted to it. Not sure right off if ours is the 2000 or not. We have the Qube and love it except found out the hard way the one we have will not pick up the locals, such as NBC CBS ABC FOX.
